Great product, but you definitely need either FM Direct (Sold separately) or DirectConnect (also separately) if you do not have an aux input on your car stereo. At this price, it should certainly come with some way to enhance the signal to your FM radio. Unlike the older models (which I used to own) this model DOES NOT automatically have enough strength to override a station effectively. Don’t be like me, order everything you need the first time so you dont have to wait months after Christmas to finally use it!
Once you have it all in place and have installed everything, the new xmp3 is great. Recording music is AWESOME. I love it and use it all the time.
