Samsung YP-X5X NeXus 25 XM Ready Digital Audio Player with 25-hour Playback

Filed under: Samsung — rockpolaris @ 2:48 am

Product takes 15 minutes to install (maybe half an hour more if you need to tweak the antenna angle and trim the trees to let it have a clear view of the sky). You can listen live, or the player stores 25 hours of music of your choice for playback later. You can preview the playlist by song title or artist, and delete any songs you don’t want to hear. (If you buy the complete XM-Sirius subscription package, you also get all the talk radio channels.) It is extremely lightweight and comes with a clippy to hold it in place on your belt. I own two of these and I think they’re great.

Feature

  • Record and then play your favorite XM radio content
  • Supports the XM + Napster music service
  • Also plays MP3s and WMA files from your personal library
  • Home docking station allows connection to home stereo
  • Holds up to 25 hours of content

Overview

The Samsung NeXus offers the full capabilities of satellite radio and MP3 music, the two most popular forms of digital audio entertainment introduced over the past 20 years. Consumers finally have a converged solution that offers XM Satellite Radio’s 160 channels of commercial-free music and premier sports, news, and talk radio, and the ability to store and play their MP3 collection, all on one portable Samsung device.
